Beginner's guide: how to make your predictions
If you've just been invited to a group and have never made predictions, relax: it's very easy and you don't need to be a football expert. In a few minutes you'll be predicting like a veteran. Let's go.
1. Join the group
When someone shares their group's code or link, you open it, create your account and you're in. You'll see the list of tournament matches and the group's leaderboard.
2. Predict each match score
For each match you write how many goals you think each team will score. For example, if you think the home team wins 2–1, you enter 2–1. You don't need to know football: just go for a result. You can predict as many matches as you like.
⏱️ Your prediction saves automatically and you can change it as many times as you want… until the match starts. At kick-off it locks and can't be touched.
3. This is how you score
When the match ends, the system compares your prediction with the real result. If you got the exact score, you take the maximum points. If you only got the winner right (or the draw) but not the exact score, you still score something. No need to keep track: it's all calculated automatically.
4. Check the leaderboard and your rivals
Your group's leaderboard is sorted by points. There you see whether you're winning or being caught. When a match starts, you can also see everyone else's predictions (never before, so nobody copies).
5. Tips for your first time
- Predict every match: the more you predict, the more chances to score.
- Keep it simple: realistic scores like 1–0, 2–1 or 1–1 land more often than blowouts.
- Don't forget the champion: if your group allows it, make your champion and runner-up prediction before it closes.
Ready to play
That's it: you predict, the system counts the points, and you compete with your friends. If you want to understand exactly how points are awarded, check the rules.
